Meet the Founder

Jeff Hindman is the founder and CEO of Cottonwood Custom Builders Inc., established in 1995. He oversees all aspects of the business—from sales and bidding to construction and quality control—bringing more than 30 years of experience as a carpenter and custom green builder to every project. Under his leadership, Cottonwood has become a leading Boulder-based general contractor known for high-performance, energy-efficient construction and exceptional craftsmanship. Jeff leads a skilled team and remains personally involved in each project, while also heading the company’s Steamboat Springs expansion launched in 2025.
