Cottonwood Custom Builders, Inc. is a small, Boulder-based general contractor specializing in renovation and remodeling of older homes and new custom homes for clients with a building site and architect-designed drawings. We excel at green building and work hard to build the most environmentally friendly structures possible. Our construction budgets are based on competitive bids from major subcontractors and suppliers. A critical-path construction schedule is submitted and reviewed prior to commencing work. Regular job-site meetings are held with both the client and architect (if applicable) to review progress and discuss upcoming decisions to be made. Only top-notch subcontractors are used. Any substandard work is immediately corrected. All required paperwork is completed as needed for proper documentation of construction and change orders. The major items on the punch list are usually completed within one week and prior to occupancy. Warranty work is performed as soon as possible and at the client’s convenience. All of this effort ensures value for the client.
